Kurt brings a wealth of MedTech expertise from a 30-year career that has spanned investment banking, equities research, medical device product design, development, commercialization, and fundraising in both public and private settings.
Most recently, he headed Life Sciences banking at WR Hambrecht & Company. Previously he served as an equity analyst for more than 20 years at Hambrecht & Quist, Montgomery Securities and Bank of America. Overseeing IPOs of more than 30 medical products companies. Early in his career at Guidant (now a part of Boston Scientific), he developed launch plans for the first ever implantable defibrillator.
Kurt received a Sc.B. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University; a master’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan and a business degree (S.M.) from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Heather is widely recognized for her expertise in commercializing innovative technologies and driving business growth. With over 20 years of experience at Medtronic, she held leadership roles across the company’s cardiovascular, cardiac surgery, cardiac rhythm management, and lung disease divisions. Most recently, Heather served as Vice President and General Manager of Peripheral Vascular, a global business at Philips.

In addition to her corporate leadership, Heather is a seasoned board and advisory board member. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for huMannity Medtec and Children’s HeartLink. Heather is also the co-chair and founder of the Minnesota MedtechWOMEN organization and is an active member of the Executive Leadership Board for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women.

Heather holds a BA in Economics from Colorado College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
